The FIAC may have temporarily decamped from its Grand Palais headquarters, but the concept remains the same: 170 galleries from 25 countries, selling cutting edge works of contemporary art. We look at some of the exhibitions, performances and public art installations parallel to the fair.

French artist Jean Claracq, whose paintings are exhibited in dialogue with those of 19th century artist Eugène Delacroix, joins us in the studio to discuss his style. We talk about the digital imagery that inspires Jean’s work, as well as the art market’s latest craze, NFTs. Art dealer Almine Rech and artist César Piette tell us more about their foray into the production and sale of tokenized pieces using blockchain technology, and what it means for the future of art.
